In the manufacturing industry, CNC-controlled machines are a common tool to make the production more effective. To make it even more effective and increase versatility of the existing CNC-machines, an industrial robot used to further increase productivity by servicing the CNC-station with new materials, palletizing complete products and removing debris-material.
By having a robot handling the closest interactions with the production line, no operators have to put them self at risk when interacting with the machines. A stamping press for example, can be fully enclosed in a cell with the robot feeding the press with new materials, and palletizing the processed details. In that way, no operator would be needed to come close to the press, but instead safely monitor the process from a control panel.
