Ekatechs LM3017 automated pallet leg maker appeals with speed, simplicity and great flexibility.

The pallet leg nailing series puts an end to the arms-consuming handling of nail machines and the need for dull repetitive labor. The series consists of either the robotic block destacker or the optimized block cutter, to eliminate the time-consuming manual block handling.

The easy-to-use interface and system comes with uncountable customization possibilities and recipe storing space to make the changeover between orders a matter of seconds. The LM3017 completes every plant by reducing production time for not just the pallet legs, but the whole pallet.

In the leg maker assembly station, block material is provided by either the LM3017-DS or LM3017-BC. A leg board is positioned over a block and nailed in place with the desired amount of nails by one, two or all three nailing machines. After the first block is nailed to the board, the board is transported to the next position and a new block is positioned under the nailing machines. This continues until all blocks are nailed. When a leg is completed, it is fed out on the buffer pipes. The machine continuously produces pallet legs until the buffer is filled, the order is fulfilled, the machine is out of material or nails, or is otherwise stopped.
